calctables.com is a free, global calculator platform. It covers the numbers people look up daily — loan and mortgage payments, BMI and calorie needs, unit conversions, geometry and statistics, electrical formulas, construction quantities, and more — organised into 23 categories spanning Financial & Business, Health & Fitness, Math, Science, Electrical & Electronics, Construction, and everyday conversions.
Why We Built It
Unlike a single-country site, calctables.com has no one "home" currency, tax authority, or unit system to build against — a visitor in Lagos expects the same accurate math as a visitor in London or Los Angeles. So every calculator is built one of two ways: calculators that depend on a rate with no single global value (a mortgage rate, a loan fee) ship with an editable, user-supplied rate field instead of a hardcoded number; calculators built on a physical constant, classification threshold, or standard formula (BMI bands, Ohm's Law, unit-conversion factors) use the internationally recognized reference for it, and support both metric and imperial units wherever a physical quantity is involved.
How We Keep Calculators Accurate
Every formula-driven calculator on calctables.com is verified against an authoritative source before publishing — WHO/CDC/ACSM for health classification bands, NIST/SI/IUPAC for physical constants and unit-conversion factors, and textbook-standard financial mathematics (amortization, compound interest) for the rate-dependent calculators. A calculator stays unpublished until its formula and constants have been checked.
