How to Use the Concrete Weight Calculator
Length, width, and thickness set the volume, same as any slab. Density defaults to 150 lb/ft³ for ordinary concrete but is yours to change if you know your specific mix runs lighter or heavier. Weight appears in pounds, tons, and kilograms at once.

Lightweight structural concrete, made with expanded shale or clay aggregate, commonly runs 90–115 lb/ft³ instead — a meaningfully different number, not a rounding error, so don't leave the default in place if you know your mix is a lightweight one.
