How to Use the Currency Calculator

This calculator does not fetch a live exchange rate, and that's a deliberate choice rather than a missing feature. Exchange rates move by the minute, and a static site has no way to guarantee a live feed stays accurate, licensed, or even online — shipping a number that looks authoritative but might be stale or wrong is worse than not shipping one at all. Instead, this tool asks you to plug in today's rate from your bank, your card network, or a currency-data site, and does the arithmetic from there.
