Enter an original price and one or more discount percentages, applied in sequence, to calculate the final price and total savings.
How to Use the Discount Calculator
Start with the original price, then add discount rows one at a time — each new discount applies to the already-reduced price from the row above it, not the original, which is the whole point of stacking them.
Stack two 20% discounts and the result isn't 40% off — it's 36%, because the second discount applies to an already-reduced price, not the original one. That gap trips people up constantly during sale season, which is exactly the case this calculator is built for.
Price After Discount = Price × (1 − Rate)
Applied once per discount, in sequence: a $100 item at 20% off drops to $80, then a second 10%-off coupon takes 10% of $80 — not 10% of $100 — leaving $72. Add or remove discount rows to model any number of stacked promotions, and the "effective discount" in the result shows what single percentage off the original price would have produced the same final total.
